Weston Super Mare Pier

The newly re-built pier will be being opened on the 19th of March to the 21st of March. It will then later be open in June for good.

The pier will be re-opening on the 19th to 21st for the sports relief mile that is run by Sainsbury. The famous landmark caught on fire in July 2008, the fire was caused by a chip pan.

In the new pier, you can expect, there will be rides for everyone and their aim is to create an indoor theme park not just an arcade.

This is the pier after the fire.

People have been working in all types of weather just to bring back the pier that was loved but this time with some modern changes.

The pier will be an all year round attraction.

The money spent on the grand pier was a total of around 50 million pounds.

People that are running for sport relief will run up and down the waist of the pier so they will get the 1st glimpse of it.
